Manufacturing Team Leader
Location: Abingdon
Salary: £50,000 £60,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to join a growing advanced manufacturing organisation based in Abingdon. This role leads a manufacturing team, responsible for all production activities following manufacture and treatment through to quality control readiness.
The Manufacturing Team Leader combines hands on technical support with people management, task planning, and process ownership to ensure the safe, compliant, and on time delivery of production requirements. You will work closely with Production Management, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to support manufacturability, resolve production challenges, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Team Leader
Lead, motivate, and manage the performance of a postprocessing manufacturing team
Allocate daily workloads and manage shift handovers
Provide handson technical support where required
Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping, and 5S
Manage consumables and oversee routine equipment maintenance
Support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing best practiceBenefits
