Duties for Inventory planner

* Responsible for running various stock reports, daily, weekly and monthly to identify potential shortages and action accordingly

* Action design engineering changes (DCO) for top level and component parts, ensuring the ERP system is updated, stock disposition is actioned correctly and appropriate actions for WIP are taken

* Reviewing requirements, taking appropriate action to ensure ongoing supply of required materials

* Efficient generation of works orders

* Create new minimum stock levels where needed

* Investigate stock discrepancies

* Housekeeping of ERP system Data to ensure accurate results

* Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM)

* Support internal and external audits as required

* Effective liaison with all internal departments

* Perform related job duties as required around the department

Skills and experience require for Inventory Planner

* Previous experience of working as a material planner is essential ideally gained within a fast pace environment

* Ability to working on own initiative whilst working in a team environment

* Strong computer skill including MRP systems
