Our client the UK's leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of bespoke physical security products are looking for a motivated Trainee Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team.

Location:            Derby / Nottingham
 
Salary:                £27,540 per annum + overtime + on call duty allowance (should you participate) + company van + fuel card

You will be the primary point of contact for all service-related tasks, including maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter and have a passion for problem solving. You must also have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to maintain and update your own van stock. You must also be comfortable working with a tablet for job reporting.  
 
You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and driving service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.  
 
Our ideal applicant will have/be:

Support / service experience within the mechanical / electrical environment is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided
Technical mindset, ability to troubleshoot, i.e. repair equipment
IT skills (Proficient in mobile device/tablet use)
Positive can-do self-motivated attitude towards work and fellow team members & willingness to support other technicians in the field
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers
Full UK Driving License
