Description
Process high volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile supplier statements to ensure account accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of payment runs and resolve payment queries.
Maintain organised records of financial transactions and documentation.
Communicate effectively with suppliers to address discrepancies.
Support month-end reporting and accounting tasks as required.
Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to streamline processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and team members.

An hourly rate of £12.60 to £14.87 depending on experience.
Temporary role with potential opportunities for further assignments.
Exposure to the accounting & finance operations in the retail industry.
