School Chef - Peterborough

Permanent Role | Part-Time | Monday to Friday
Hours: 9:15 AM - 1:45 PM (Term Time Only)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Chef to join our team at a friendly and vibrant school in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for cooking and ensuring children receive healthy, nutritious meals in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook fresh, balanced meals daily in line with dietary requirements.
Ensure food is served to a high standard and on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.
Manage stock and kitchen supplies efficiently.
Adhere to all food hygiene and health & safety regulations.Requirements:

Previous experience in a cooking or catering role (preferably in a school or similar setting).
Valid Food Hygiene Certificate .
Strong understanding of food safety and allergen awareness.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for working around children.Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:15 AM to 1:45 PM
Term-time only (perfect for work-life balance)
