We're working with a leading FMCG business in Northamptonshire who are looking for a Procurement Manager to take the lead on sourcing, supplier management, and margin protection across a fast-paced, perishable category.

The role:
? Managing key supplier relationships in the UK and internationally
? Negotiating terms, ensuring quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness
? Working cross-functionally with commercial, technical, and logistics teams
? Forecasting volumes and prices, helping the business stay ahead in a volatile market
? Keeping a close eye on market trends, currency impacts, and seasonality

Essential candidate criteria:
✅ Proven experience in a procurement or buying role - 3+ years - ideally in fresh produce or food manufacturing
✅ Strong negotiation and communication skills
✅ Commercial awareness and data-savvy thinking
✅ Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to supply chain challenges
✅ Passion for the food industry and an interest in how things grow!
