Welder Fabricator - MIG-TIG

About the Role:

Our client, a reputable company in sheet metal seeking a proficient MIG and TIG Welder to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, particularly MIG and TIG, and will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.

*

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

*

Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures.

*

Inspect and test welds for structural integrity and quality standards.

*

Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation.

*

Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment.

*

Work collaboratively with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and project specifications.

Key Requirements:

*

Minimum of 3 years of experience in MIG and TIG welding and fabrication.

*

Proven experience in welding stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

*

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

*

Good understanding of current health and safety requirements for welding and other hot works.

*

Full UK Driving Licence.
