We're seeking a Project Engineer with an engineering background to deliver capital projects within a manufacturing environment. This role is hands-on, structured, and focused on equipment installation, automation, and production improvement.

Key Projects

Installation of a new production line
Production line upgrade - design and installation of a robotic depalletising systemThe Role

Deliver engineering projects from scope to handover, ensuring time, cost, and quality control
Manage formal project change control, risk, and project governance
Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and internal engineering teams
Lead project gate reviews and report against KPIs
Maintain site layouts, drawings, and technical documentation
Resolve issues using root cause analysis in a live production environmentWhat We're Looking For

3-5 years' experience delivering engineering or manufacturing projects
Engineering background (manufacturing/FMCG/industrial)
Experience working with production equipment, automation, or capital installs
Comfortable applying structured project management controls
AutoCAD experience beneficial (training available)
Strong communicator, organised, and delivery-focused
Full UK driving licenceThis role suits someone who has managed engineering projects in operational environments.
