About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Street Cleansing Operative to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and ensuring high standards of environmental upkeep across the local area. You will be working both independently and as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out all aspects of street cleansing duties, including litter picking, sweeping, and removal of waste.

* Maintain public areas such as footpaths, roadsides, parks, and communal spaces.

* Operate equipment and tools safely and effectively (training provided if required).

* Work independently to manage assigned routes and ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.

* Support team activities when required to meet operational needs.

* Follow all health and safety guidelines and report any hazards or issues.

* Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.

* Team player who can collaborate effectively when required.

* Good level of physical fitness to undertake manual outdoor work.

* Reliability and good timekeeping.
