We are working on behalf of a local school in the Walsall area to recruit a reliable and caring Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils during the lunchtime period.

This is a short, daily role and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and can help maintain a safe, positive and well-organised environment.

Working Hours

Daily shifts of no longer than 2 hours

Key Responsibilities

Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas

Supporting pupils with safe and appropriate behaviour during lunch and playtime

Encouraging positive social interaction and good conduct

Dealing with minor incidents and reporting any concerns to senior staff

Ensuring pupil's safety and well being at all times

Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (desirable)

A calm, friendly and approachable manner

The ability to manage behaviour positively and confidently

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a wider school team

A strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare

Important Information

This is a school-based role and is subject to safer recruitment checks

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or a willingness to obtain one
