We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (M.E.T.) Technician to join our bodyshop team. You’ll play a vital role in bringing damaged vehicles back to manufacturer standards — from fault diagnosis to the safe reinstallation of complex mechanical and electrical systems.

What You’ll Do

*

Strip and refit vehicle components to support the repair process

*

Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical, electrical, and safety systems

*

Remove, repair, and reinstall engines, gearboxes, suspension, and trim

*

Calibrate ADAS and safety-critical systems post-repair

*

Carry out pre- and post-repair diagnostic sweeps

*

Liaise with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and on-time completion

*

Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and compliance at every stage

What You’ll Bring

*

Proven experience as an M.E.T. or Vehicle Damage Technician

*

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems: engine, gearbox, suspension, electrical, ADAS

*

Confidence with diagnostic tools and interpreting technical data

*

Understanding of high-voltage and safety restraint systems

*

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to doing things right first time

*

Awareness of the commercial and safety impact of your work
