Job Title: EC&I / Controls Engineer (Hybrid)
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + benefits

A well-established industrial automation company based in Huddersfield is looking to recruit an experienced EC&I / Controls Engineer to support a growing portfolio of automation projects. This is a hybrid position offering a mix of office, home, and site-based work.

The role will suit an engineer with strong PLC and SCADA experience who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle on technically challenging automation systems.

Key responsibilities:

Design, development, testing, and commissioning of control systems

*

PLC programming using Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms

*

SCADA system development and integration

*

Electrical and instrumentation involvement across automation projects

*

Fault finding, upgrades, and modifications to existing systems

*

Working closely with project managers, engineers, and end clients

Essential skills and experience:

*

Proven experience as an EC&I / Controls Engineer or similar role

*

Strong SCADA experience (essential)

*

Siemens PLC experience (TIA Portal / Step 7)

*

Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLC experience

*

Experience delivering industrial automation projects

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
