We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based near Helmsley, North Yorkshire

This is a hands-on role at the heart of the business’s financial operations—perfect for someone who thrives on learning new things and providing consistent support to the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency across the business. Your day-to-day will include:

* Preparation of month-end reporting packs

* Reconciling payments and uploading sales invoices and credit notes

* Investigating and resolving any discrepancies

* Preparing journals, pre-payments, and accruals

* Supporting the audit process

* Liaising with key stakeholders in the business and working towards shared deadlines

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s not just good with numbers—but great with people, too. As the Management Accountant, you’ll need:

* Previous experience in management accounting or financial accounting

* Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical skills

* Confident Excel skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

* Clear communication and teamworking skills

* The ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy

* AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified or part-qualified or equivalent experience
