Teaching Personnel are working closely with a well-established SEN school in the Chichester area that supports pupils aged 2 to 19 years with a range of complex learning needs. The school provides a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their personal best.
About the Role:
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work closely with students across various age groups and abilities. You will support pupils in the classroom and during intervention activities, helping them to access learning, develop key life skills, and build confidence and independence.
The role may involve one-to-one or small group support, personal care, and implementing behaviour or communication strategies tailored to individual needs.
Pupils May Have:
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
Sensory and/or physical disabilities
Complex medical or care needs
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN/complex needs (in education, care, or support roles)
Calm, patient, and empathetic
Comfortable with personal care and manual handling (training provided if needed)
Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented
Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
