Sheet Metal Fabricator – 12 Weeks Temp-to-Perm
Location: Newport
Rate: £16–£18/hr (Temp), up to £40k/year (Perm) Depending on experience

A&G Resourcing Ltd are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Newport. This is a 12-week temp-to-perm role with excellent pay, career progression, and fantastic working hours—including an early finish on Fridays!

Hours:

* Monday–Thursday: 06:30–16:00

* Friday: 06:30–13:00

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal components, operating machines such as press brakes, laser cutters, guillotines, and punching machines. The ideal candidate is skilled, proactive, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and maintain sheet metal fabrication machinery.

* Read and interpret technical drawings for precise fabrication.

* Cut, form, and shape sheet metal accurately and safely.

* Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets.

* Troubleshoot and resolve shop floor issues.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication.

* Strong knowledge of fabrication machinery and processes.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
