Consultant Psychiatrist - Female PICU
Pay: £185,000 (Full-time, 37.5hrs/week)

Essential requirements:
* Hold CCST/CCT (or equivalent)
* Hold GMC registration
* Experience of working at consultant level within the NHS
Psychiatry Consultant role:
* The post is within a 28-bedded facility providing acute and PICU services
* Working as Responsible Clinician covering a 10-bedded psychiatric intensive care unit for females of working age. The ward is proficient at nursing patients in a severe phase of their mental health illness
* The site receives support from an experienced Specialty Doctor
* Clinical duties include leading ward rounds, CPA meetings, risk meetings, care plan meetings and leading treatment pathways for each patient
* Provide reports for CPA meetings and for the Hospital Managers, Mental Health Tribunal and Commissioners
* Participate in site wide meetings including Clinical Governance and to take an active role in liaising with outside agencies promoting and developing the service
* Be a part of the team of medics that already includes Medical Director, Consultant Psychiatrist, Speciality Doctors, Registered Medical Doctors and University Students
