1-2-1 SEND Teaching Assistant

ABC Teachers are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant, providing 1:1 support to children within a SEND school.

About the role:

Your new role will be instrumental in the academic progress and social development of students. Providing an individualised approach to support, both personalising and adapting a child’s educational experience to meet their diverse needs.
To be able to assist students with a diagnosis of ASD and associated communication and behavioural needs
A key element of this role is to provide personal care to students, it is vital that you are comfortable to support in this area.

About you:

This role requires an experienced Teaching Assistant with suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable.
You will have a passion for engaging and caring for young people in terms of their physical, social and emotional welfare.
Suitable references and a valid DBS on the update service, or a willingness to complete a DBS check.
