Are you a passionate and reliable Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role in a supportive primary school? Supply Desk is working closely with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Lewes, who are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across the primary age range and play a key role in their academic and personal development within a nurturing school environment.

The Role:

Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning activities

Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups

Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and general support tasks

Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils’ wellbeing

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine enthusiasm for working with children in a primary school setting

Previous school-based experience is beneficial but not essential

Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible attitude

A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
