The Role
The RE Teacher will:
* Deliver intellectually challenging lessons across Key Stages 3-5, exploring diverse religious, philosophical, and ethical questions.
* Facilitate Socratic dialogue and nuanced debates, encouraging respectful articulation of diverse viewpoints.
* Guide students in critical analysis of religious texts, philosophical arguments, and contemporary moral dilemmas.
* Contribute to departmental initiatives, including philosophy clubs and interfaith dialogue.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a qualified RE Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:
