SALES EXECUTIVE JOB SUMMARY:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join an award winning, Bournemouth based fintech company, who design and build exceptional technology and customised solutions for a variety of industry sectors.
With a focus on growth, they are now looking to employ a Sales Executive into an existing team, and are ideally looking for a target driven, self-motivated individual who has at least 12 – 18 months B2B sales experience.
In this role, you will focus on outbound telephone-based sales activity designed to generate, qualify and assist in converting new sales opportunities across the company's product range.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SALES EXECUTIVE:
Create and maintain your own sales / prospects list, utilising an array of different data sources (Provided by the company and through your own market research
With a focus on telephone-based activity, build a contact strategy for this prospect list to generate qualified leads that can be passed to the National Sales Manager
Work with the National Sales Manager to convert qualified leads into sales
Work closely with the National Sales Manager and the wider Sales team to meet and exceed assigned revenue targets
Maintain and update the CRM system with relevant information relating to sales leads, ensuring accurate data is produced in relation to the sales pipeline
Develop a good working knowledge of the organisation’s technology propositions
Liaise with the Marketing team to ensure brand consistency in all external messaging
Stay up to date with new product launches and wider industry news
Deliver product demonstrations to prospect clients
As required, meet with prospect clients in person / video meeting to demonstrate products and to determine specific requirements
Gather feedback from sales prospects where appropriate to help shape the product roadmap REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
At least 12 – 18 months of B2B sales or account management experience
Experience of working within Financial Services / Insurance / Banking / Mortgages or Wealth industries would be advantageous.
A strong communicator with a professional / consultative phone manner
Proven ability to quickly understand customers’ expectations and circumstances, in order to sell them a product that will be beneficial to their requirements.
