ROLE: Maintenance Fitter
HOURS: 06:00 - 14:00 Monday - Friday
SALARY: £15.31 p/hr

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team to fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components and structures by interpreting technical drawings and using appropriate tools and machinery.

WHAT OUR MAINTENANCE FITTERS DO:

Perform various welding techniques (MIG & TIG) to join metal components securely and cleanly
Accurately assemble and fit fabricated parts, ensuring alignment, fit, and functionality according to design specifications
Support management in investigations on reported SHE incidents
Provide relevant containment, corrective and preventative action plans, escalating incidents in line with SHE
Install completed components and systems on sites or in workshops, including structural frameworks and piping
Read and understand engineering drawings
Conduct routine maintenance of tools and machinery to ensure operational efficiency and longevity
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR MAINTENANCE FITTERS:

Apprentice trained with an Engineering qualification in Fabrication
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Driving licence as may be required to assist on other sites
