Job Title: HGV C+E Shunter Driver (Day Shift)
Location: Morley, Leeds, LS27 0FU
Salary: £15.28 per hour (Flat Rate)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 19:30pm
Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing Temporary
Guaranteed 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
Holidays are accrued on top of the hourly rate
Job Description: Pertemps Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver (Unit work, not Tug) to work with a leading logistics company based in Morley, Leeds.
This is a day shift role with guaranteed hours, ideal for drivers seeking consistent weekday work.
Key Responsibilities:
Move empty trailers onto loading bays at the start of shift
Remove full trailers and replace with new empties throughout the day
Operate safely and efficiently in a busy yard environmentRequirements:
A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 12 months of HGV C+E driving experience
Valid CPC qualification
Valid digital tachograph cardBenefits:

40 hours guaranteed per week

Monday to Friday – no weekends
