They are now seeking an experienced and chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing consultancy team, offering a great opportunity to work on diverse construction projects with a collaborative and professional team environment.

? Role Responsibilities

Lead the cost management of projects from feasibility through to final account.

*

Provide accurate and detailed cost advice to clients across various sectors.

*

Prepare tender documentation, BoQs, and cost plans.

*

Manage valuations, variations, and change control.

*

Conduct risk assessments and provide value engineering solutions.

*

Represent the consultancy at client and design team meetings.

*

Mentor junior staff and support APC candidates where required.

*

Ensure compliance with RICS/industry standards in all aspects of delivery.

*

Liaise effectively with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and clients.

✅ Key Requirements

*

Chartered Status: MRICS or MCIOB (essential).

*

Minimum 5–7 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role

*

Broad project experience across multiple disciplines (e.g. building, civils, infrastructure).

*

Strong communication and client-facing skills.

*

Proficient in cost management software (e.g. CostX, CATO, Excel).

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites when required.

⭐ Desirable Skills

*

Pre- and post-contract experience across both public and private sector projects.

*

Understanding of NEC and JCT contract forms.

*

Experience working within a consultancy or client-side environment.

*

Involvement in business development or client relationship management
