HELPDESK COORDINATOR - REACTIVE MAINTENANCE - 12 month FTC with opportunity to go permanent.

Our client, a rapidly growing SME Mechanical Engineering specialist who support with reactive maintenance contracts across the private and public sector, are currently recruiting for an experienced HELPDESK COORDINATOR

As the Helpdesk Coordinator, you will be within a team of 8-10 people with a field based team of up to 20. There will be a great deal of exposure to the running of the business and can lead to progression within the company. Office based working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities as Helpdesk Coordinator

* Manage and book in client jobs raised via Mailbox or portals

* Schedule correct labour to complete the jobs onto PDA system for operatives.

* Book emergency calls outs, reactive maintenance visits, PPM appts & remedial works

* Manage Engineer diaries

* Arrange permits and access for all installation dates

* Order materials for site delivery

* Actively, monitor the response from the PDA and come up with solutions on how to aid and support the field engineers, but also facilitate in operatives completing timely and comprehensive job reports.

* Build relationships with new and existing clients. Help solve the problems!

* Ensure key information is recorded on our shared drive.

* Complete reporting for clients on a weekly and monthly basis

Key Attributes as Helpdesk Coordinator

* Great problem solver

* Ideally, with similar role experience, whether working for a contractor or local authority, housing association or facilities management company.

* Ability to build rapport with great customer service

* Confident under pressure

* Impeccable organisational skills

* Remain calm at all times, with ability to prioritise effectively

* Great attention to detail, especially when working with numbers

* Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and other database applications
