As a Cover Teacher, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain focused and engaged while maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lessons and supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher

Follow lesson plans and ensure learning continues smoothly

Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies

Provide feedback on pupil progress and lesson outcomes

Requirements:

Must hold a degree from a UK university (teaching qualification preferred but not essential)

An up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

*

Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting
