Machine Operator – FMCG Manufacturing

Location: Rochester, Kent
Shifts: Opportunities for applicants on days or nights

* Days: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

* Nights: Monday to Thursday, 6pm – 6am

Pay: £12.21 – £13.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We are recruiting for Machine Operators to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site in Rochester. This is a hands-on role operating and monitoring production machinery, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring products are made to a consistently high standard.

Full training is provided, with opportunities to develop and progress within a supportive, well-structured production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor production and packaging machinery to maintain smooth and efficient output

* Perform basic machine adjustments and report any faults or stoppages promptly

* Carry out visual and weight-based quality checks on products and packaging

* Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times

* Work closely with your team to meet production targets and support process improvements

Ideal Candidate

* Previous FMCG, manufacturing, or production line experience is preferred

* Comfortable working in a factory environment and on your feet throughout the shift

* Reliable, practical, and keen to learn new skills

* Strong attention to detail and a focus on product quality
