Up to £48,000 per annum OTE + Overtime (Paid at Time and a Half)

About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our busy and professional workshop in York, a trusted Class 4 & 7 MOT test station. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Mechanic who enjoys diagnostics, repairs, and working as part of a close-knit team.

Whether you’re a time-served Vehicle Technician or a qualified Mechanic looking for a new challenge, this role offers excellent earning potential through bonus and overtime.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics using modern tools and equipment

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles

Support with MOT preparation and fault finding

Advise on additional work required and liaise with the service team

Conduct test drives to confirm issues and repairs

What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Full UK Driving Licence

EV or hybrid certification is a bonus (training can be provided)

Salary & Benefits

Bonus up to £750 per month (time saved bonus scheme)

Overtime paid at time and a half

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
