Role Overview:
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. You’ll play a key role in developing pupils' independence and supporting their progress across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver well-structured, engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Plan, assess, and adapt teaching to ensure all pupils make progress

*

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations and mutual respect

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leaders to share best practices and ensure consistency

*

Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil development

*

Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, trips, and school events

We are looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve this by September 2025

*

A passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum

*

Strong classroom management and a nurturing approach to teaching

*

Enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to grow professionally

*

An ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

*
