We’re looking for a CNC Turner to join long-established and respected manufacturing business at their site based in Crewe.

What’s on offer?

* £16.00 - £17.50 per hour

* Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

* 12.45pm finish on a Friday

* Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)

* 30 days holiday (including bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a CNC Turner?

* Setting up, operating and programming CNC turning machines

* Working on single and twin turret Hyundai lathes

* Machining components to technical drawings and specifications

* Manufacturing components from engineering drawings

* Performing self-inspection of your own work using Micrometres

* Conducting preventative and general maintenance checks

* Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation at all times

What do you need?

* Previous experience with setting/programming CNC machinery

* Experience programming on Fanuc

* Time served as an apprentice

* Carbide/ceramic experience/soft materials experience (desirable)

* CNC or manual grinding experience (desirable)
