Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a warm and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a Nursery and Reception setting in a friendly Bury primary school. This position is available for an immediate start and will continue on a long-term basis.

About the role:
As an Early Years TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting children's early development and learning. Working closely with the class teacher, you'll help deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, support children's communication, and nurture their social and emotional skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide group and 1:1 support to children aged 3-5.

Assist in planning and delivering fun, play-based learning activities.

Support personal care routines when required.

Observe and record children's progress, contributing to planning and assessment.

Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

Level 2 or 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Experience supporting EYFS pupils in a school or nursery setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain).
