We are looking to appoint

A German-speaking customer assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth communication between a company and its German-speaking customers. One of their primary responsibilities is to answer the phone and take messages. This task may sound straightforward, but it requires a blend of linguistic proficiency, cultural understanding, and excellent interpersonal skills. Whether it’s addressing queries, resolving issues, or providing information about products and services, the customer assistant must convey clarity and confidence in their communication

Skills and experience:

To excel in the role of a German-speaking customer assistant, several key skills are essential. First and foremost is fluency in German, both written and spoken. This includes a strong vocabulary and the ability to understand various dialects and nuances present in the language. Additionally, having an understanding of customer service principles is crucial. This means being patient, empathetic, and solutions-oriented, especially when handling customer complaints or inquiries.

Time management skills are also important, as customer assistants often juggle multiple calls and messages simultaneously. The ability to prioritise tasks and respond promptly ensures that customers feel valued and heard. Furthermore, familiarity with CRM software and communication tools aids in efficient message tracking and follow-up, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction
