This role pays £12.21 per hour for the first 4 weeks and then £12.61 here after. The night shift will be £14.65 per hour for the first 4 weeks rising to £15.13 per hour after 4 weeks.

THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking Warehouse Operatives to work on an ongoing basis for our client based in Washington. This is a fast-paced role requiring good levels of accuracy. This is a temporary, ongoing up until Christmas.

THE ROLE

Picking and packing goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Physical activity including lifting and handling stock

Checking stock

Operating equipment

Maintaining a clean and organised workplace

Picking stock off shelves using a hand-held scanners

Putting stock away onto shelves

Decanting from pallets

Meeting daily targets

Performing stock rotation

Inspecting goods for damage

THE PERSON

Previous warehouse experience preferred

The ability to work with accuracy

The ability to work alone and as part of a team

Flexible to work a variety of shifts which include earlies, late’s and some night shift
