MOT Tester

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified and reliable MOT Tester to join a busy workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance at all times. Mechanical repair work may also be available depending on experience and preference.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations

*

Ensure all MOT tests are completed accurately and fairly

*

Maintain DVSA standards, compliance and audit requirements

*

Identify and clearly communicate vehicle defects and advisories

*

Keep MOT testing area clean, safe and organised

*

Accurately complete MOT records and documentation

*

Work professionally with colleagues and customers

Skills & Experience

*

Valid MOT Tester licence (Class 4 essential)

*

Minimum Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)

*

Strong understanding of DVSA regulations and testing procedures

*

High attention to detail and integrity

*

Ability to work independently and efficiently

*

Full UK driving licence
