Reception Teaching Assistant – Camden, London
Full-Time | Temporary | £90–£115 per day | Term Time Only

Are you an enthusiastic Early Years professional looking for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? Teach Now is proud to partner with a warm, inclusive primary school in Camden to recruit a Reception Teaching Assistant for a long-term opportunity starting 2nd March 2026.

This school offers a nurturing EYFS environment with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, early development, and collaborative practice. You’ll be part of a supportive Reception team that values consistency, creativity, and child-led learning. With working hours of 8:30am–3:30pm, this role offers excellent work-life balance, ideal for educators seeking stability and long-term impact.

Your role will include:

• Supporting pupils in Reception on both a group and 1:1 basis

• Delivering targeted EYFS interventions such as bucket time, rhyme time, sensory circuits, and early phonics

• Assisting with classroom setup, resources, and engaging learning environments

• Supporting pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development

• Promoting positive behaviour in line with school policies

• Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety procedures are always followed

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with Early Years or Reception-aged children

• Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable

• Communicates confidently and works well within a team

• Holds First Aid training or is willing to complete it

This long-term placement offers consistency for pupils and the chance to grow professionally within a well-structured, welcoming school. A trial day is available to ensure the right fit for both you and the school.
