About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to support students aged 16-19 with special educational needs. This full-time role begins in November 2025 and offers a rewarding opportunity to help young people develop independence, life skills, and academic progress in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Assist in delivering vocational and life skills programmes alongside academic content.
Support students in developing communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement individual learning plans.
Promote independence and confidence in preparation for adulthood.Requirements:

Experience working with young people with SEN, ideally in a post-16 or secondary setting.
A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to support.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to undertake relevant training.
A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is essential.
