Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £162.32 - £223.62 per day
Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, plus occasional parents' evenings

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Portsmouth. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and assess in line with the UK curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
Right to Work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Two professional references
