Are you a confident, experienced Nursery Manager ready for your next opportunity? We're working with a well-established and highly regarded nursery in Roundhay, Leeds, looking for a passionate and proactive leader to take the reins of their large, thriving setting.

About the Role:

As Nursery Manager, you'll lead a large and dedicated team, overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery and ensuring exceptional standards of care, education, and compliance are met.

You'll foster a warm, positive environment where children thrive, staff are supported, and families feel welcome. The nursery follows the Montessori approach, so a willingness to embrace child-led learning is key - but prior Montessori experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a large nursery team

Ensure compliance with Ofsted and all statutory requirements

Champion the highest standards of early years education and care

Support and embed the Montessori philosophy (training can be provided)

Build strong partnerships with families, staff, and the local community

Drive ongoing development and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a Nursery Manager role

Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills

Excellent understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures

Confidence managing a large team and a busy setting

Montessori experience is a bonus - open-mindedness is a must!
