Position Overview
Role: Art Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Shropshire
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Encourage creativity, independent thinking, and technical skill development
Plan and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles
Contribute to the wider creative life of the school, including exhibitions, clubs, and enrichment activities
Support the department in maintaining high standards of teaching and student achievement
Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification in Art or a related subject
Has experience teaching Art in a secondary school environment
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and an enthusiasm for visual arts
Has a commitment to supporting student progress and well-being
Brings creativity, innovation, and a team-focused mindset
