A respected building services contractor is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. The business delivers a wide range of compliance-led services, including fire protection, refurbishment, and property maintenance, across commercial, residential, and public sector environments.

Working alongside an experienced Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial and contractual management of live projects by assisting with valuations, cost tracking, procurement, and reporting. This role offers excellent exposure to the full project lifecycle and a clear path for progression within a supportive, expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with valuations, cost control, and project reporting.

*

Support procurement and management of subcontractor accounts.

*

Carry out measurements, take-offs, and variation tracking.

*

Contribute to tendering and estimating activities.

*

Attend site visits and liaise with project teams to ensure commercial accuracy.

Requirements:

*

HNC/HND or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline/experience

*

1–3 years’ experience in a construction, fit-out, or compliance-based environment in a similar role (essential)

*

Confident communicator with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
