Managing Director- Rory’s Travel Club
Belfast City Centre office, Monday-Friday
£80,000 to £100,000
Rory’s Travel Club is entering a major phase of growth. With our London expansion well underway, we’re now looking for a Managing Director to lead the London business from our Belfast city centre office and take Rory’s Travel Club into its next chapter.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone from a strong commercial background who knows how to scale a business, lead people, and drive growth. It’s about setting direction, making smart decisions, and being right at the heart of the action.
The Managing Director will have full responsibility for the day to day running of the business, the performance of the team, and the strategic growth of Rory’s Travel Club London.
What you’ll do in this role:
* Direct leadership and management of a team of around 10, including Sales Manager, Sales Executives, Social Media Executive, Customer Service, and Admin teams
* Setting the overall commercial and operational strategy for the business
* Driving revenue growth and profitability across all areas of the club
* Leading on major commercial negotiations and closing high value contracts
* Supporting and developing the sales function, from strategy through to execution
* Working closely with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver the London growth strategy
* Ensuring teams are aligned, motivated, and performing at a high level
* Taking full ownership of business performance, results, and culture
What we’re looking for:
* A strong commercial background with proven experience growing a business
* Senior leadership experience with direct people management responsibility
* A track record of negotiating and closing large, complex contracts
* Strategic thinking combined with a practical, hands-on approach
* Confident decision making and clear communication
* Experience scaling teams, processes, and revenue
* Comfort operating in a fast paced, ambitious environment
Experience in travel, hospitality, leisure, or membership-based businesses would be beneficial, but what matters most is commercial strength, leadership capability, and the ability to grow a brand.
