Job Title: M&E Engineer
Location: Cardiff

Matchtech are seeking an experienced M&E Engineer for one of our clients to support the delivery of a Maintenance Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Maintenance Manager in the day-to-day delivery.
Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities
Plan and coordinate quarterly closures, including allocation of resources.
Manage and supervise agencies and subcontractors.
Arrange plant, equipment, access, and site logistics to ensure smooth operations.
Provide technical input and support for electrical maintenance
Coordinate and support the execution of works on site.
Assist with maintenance planning, work scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
Contribute to safe systems of work, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
Develop management capability over time through coaching and increased responsibility.Experience & Qualifications:
Significant experience working on electrical or mechanical contracts
Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent is highly regarded.
Electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND) are advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong planning, coordination, and organisational skills.
Confident working with multiple contractors and internal teams.
Competent in Microsoft Excel and general office software.What We Offer:
