Job Description

£15 per hour
Permanent day shift and a 4-day working week
Monday to Thursday - with flexibility if required.
39 hours per week
Steady industry with guaranteed workMy client is an Engineering company based in the Newton Aycliffe area who are looking to expand their team and looking to increase their order book

Main Duties:

Read drawings
Use AutoCAD or equivalent i.e. Fusion 360 or Delcam
Create templates
CAD post processor
Be able to work in metric and imperial if possible
Reverse engineer a part, (draw it and send information to the post processor)
Create and modify engineering drawings
(steel/aluminium moulds and mould parts, diameters with profiles, contours etc)
Use a Lathe and/or machining centre
Willingness to learn - in house training

Desirable but not essential

Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD lite, Delcam and InventorPlease note: A CAD test and reading of drawing ability will be carried out at the interview stage
