Job Role - Resources Business Partner
Location - Newcastle NE1
Salary - £21.00 - £26.00 per hour DOE
Job Type - Contract 
 
The Role
 
Our client is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Resource Business Partner to support workforce planning, talent resourcing and strategic hiring across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring the organisation has the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.
This role goes beyond recruitment delivery, it focuses on partnership, insight and forward planning to support business growth and performance.
 
Key Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders to understand current and future resourcing needs
Develop and deliver workforce and resource plans aligned to business strategy
Manage end-to-end recruitment for key roles, either directly or via external suppliers
Provide market insight, talent mapping and data-driven recommendations
Challenge and advise stakeholders on hiring strategies, role design and timelines
Support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across resourcing activity
Track and report on recruitment metrics, cost, and effectiveness
Continuously improve resourcing processes and candidate experience About You

Proven experience in a resourcing, recruitment, or talent partner role
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level
Commercially aware with a strategic mindset
Confident using data to inform decisions and challenge constructively
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Desirable

Experience operating as a true business partner rather than purely delivery-focused
Background in Public Sector would be an advantage
