Parkview Care Centre are looking for a reliable and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure our care home maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety for our residents.
As Head Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and hygienic environment that supports the dignity and well-being of everyone in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support a team of housekeeping staff to maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the home
* Create and maintain cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet care quality standards
* Order and manage housekeeping supplies within budget
* Work closely with care and maintenance teams to ensure a well-run and pleasant environment
About You:
* Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, ideally in a care home or healthcare setting
* Strong attention to detail and high standards of hygiene
* Good organisational and leadership skills
* Friendly, approachable, and able to lead by example
* Understanding of infection prevention and control standards in a care environment
