Initially: Day shift (06:00–14:00)

Future: May rotate to 3-shift pattern (06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–06:00)
Pay Rates:

Day Shift: £20.57/hour

2 Rotating Shifts: £21.75/hour

3 Rotating Shifts: £22.08/hour

Permanent Nights: £22.85/hour

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team in Northampton. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of our production equipment and plant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of machinery.

Support plant services including steam, compressed air, and water circulation systems.

Maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems and microprocessor-controlled moulding equipment.

Complete mechanical, electrical, and basic gas and welding repairs.

Conduct inspections, stock checks, and order spare parts.

Participate in plant shutdowns/start-ups and respond to breakdowns.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping in line with 5S practices.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ISO IATF 16949 standards.

Complete and present 12 improvement projects annually.

Proactively engage in training and skill development.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, steam systems, and fault-finding techniques.

Comfortable working across mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and communicate effectively with other departments.

Flexibility to work different shifts based on business needs.
