Head of UK Operations - Manufacturing
Location: Diss, Norfolk
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + excellent benefits

Are you a strategic and hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence? We are partnering with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a Head of UK Operations to oversee their manufacturing activities across multiple UK sites.
 
This is a senior leadership role where you will drive performance, maintain high safety standards, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the business's success and growth.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Lead all UK manufacturing operations across multiple sites.
Foster a strong safety culture, working closely with the SHEQ team.
Drive operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Mentor and develop senior management teams (5 direct reports, c.50 indirect).
Ensure operations are fully aligned with company strategy.
Oversee performance management and resource allocation.
Collaborate with procurement, technical, and finance departments.
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making. Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role.
Background in electronics, automotive, or similar technical manufactured products preferred.
Track record of managing multi-site operations.
Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
Experience in EHS/SHEQ (IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent preferred).
Excellent communication, performance management, and process improvement skills. What's on Offer:
