Key Responsibilities

Early Years Support: Assist in delivering engaging EYFS lessons and play-based learning activities.

Child Development: Support children's personal, social, and emotional development in line with the EYFS framework.

Observation & Assessment: Record and monitor children's progress, contributing to learning journals and reports.

Learning Environment: Help maintain an organised, safe, and inclusive classroom setting.

1:1 and Group Work: Provide support for individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning outcomes.

Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support each child's needs.

Safeguarding: Follow safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure the well-being of all pupils.

Contract Details

Position: Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Long-term (ongoing)

Start Date: November 2024

Hours: Full-time, 8:20 AM - 3:45 PM

Rate of Pay: From £95.29 per day

Qualifications & Experience

Qualification: Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum of 12 weeks supporting children in an Early Years or primary setting.

Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training desirable (training can be provided).

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

Two professional references from educational settings
