You will be based from home, repairing and installing a range of end-of-line machinery.
Equipment used within various industries such as food, construction, pharma, and distribution, amongst others.
Visiting a range of well-known and prestigious clients.
Conducting installations, commissioning and responding to breakdown calls.
Fault find, diagnose, and repair equipment.
Accurate report writing for customer and internal use
The role is 50% mechanical, 50% electrical, so will suit a multiskilled engineer
A Mon - Fri role with some overtime available. This role may involve nights away from home and frequent travel.Ideal Background for the Field Service Engineer:

Hold a formal engineering qualification such as City and Guilds, HNC, HND, NVQ, apprenticeship or an electrical qualification.
You'll have previous field service experience or have been an engineer within the armed forces.
Multiskilled background
Basic understanding of PLC fault finding (specific training can be provided)
Strong customer service skills
Good administrative and accurate reporting skills
Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have right to work in the UK without sponsorship
Willingness to stay out as requiredThe Package for the Field Service Engineer:

£36,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary, depending on experience.
Company bonus + daily lunch allowance + company credit card.
Weekend overtime available.
Company vehicle.
Enhanced Company Pension, Mobile, Tablet.
Death in Service (4x Salary).
Specialist tools, uniform, PPE provided.
Ongoing manufacturers training.
