JOB TITLE- HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN

Job Summary:

We are currently representing a role on behalf of our industry leading client based in the East Yorkshire region.

* We are representing an exciting opportunity on behalf of our client based in the East Yorkshire region. This role will lead the Supply chain function, ensuring materials, components and finished goods flow efficiently through the business.

Main Duties:

* Oversee the end‑to‑end internal supply and delivery process, ensuring materials are available on a JIT basis to support operational requirements.

* Manage and optimise the organisation’s supply chain systems, ensuring accurate data, effective workflows and strong utilisation across the team.

* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, using system‑based performance monitoring to ensure reliability, quality and cost control.

* Lead stock management activities, preventing over‑ordering and ensuring inventory levels remain aligned with demand forecasts and production schedules.

* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and strengthen supply continuity.

Person Specification:

* Proven experience in a supply chain, procurement or materials management leadership role.

* Strong systems capability, with experience managing procurement and stock control through ERP/MRP platforms.

* Demonstrable experience managing supplier relationships and driving performance through data and system insights.

* Background in JIT procurement or fast‑paced operational environments is highly desirable
