We are seeking an innovative and skilled Design & Technology Teacher specialising in Food Technology for an immediate, part-time temporary role at an 'Outstanding' boys' school in Brent. The ideal candidate will inspire creativity and practical skills, enabling students to explore culinary arts and nutrition with confidence.

What you'll be doing:

* You'll be designing and delivering engaging D&T Food Technology lessons, covering various cooking techniques, food science, and nutritional understanding.

* It's about fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and practical application, allowing students to experiment with ingredients and recipes.

* You'll contribute to a stimulating and safe kitchen environment where students can learn about healthy eating and culinary innovation.

What we're looking for:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Design & Technology (Food Technology).

* Experience teaching engaging and effective D&T Food Technology lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.

* Strong practical cooking skills and a deep understanding of food science, nutrition, and food preparation.

* Excellent communication skills, strong classroom and kitchen management, and a genuine passion for inspiring future chefs and food innovators.
